Earn a Lot of Swagbucks

These methods for earning Swagbucks are primarily for earning on-site and not with the SB Apps. Using the online site is just the beginning of starting to earn significant amounts of SB currency, so it will be awesome for you to get into the routine of logging in at Swagbucks and doing daily activities at least 5-7 days per week.

Get the Swagbutton installed into your browser -  for Firefox, Chrome (linux, windows and mac users). You can get points daily just for using the SB Button to start your daily earning routine.

Get into your account dashboard, click around on everything to learn what earning pages and areas are most useful to you. Find the surveys area, offers, tasks, store lists, coupon pages, etc. More importantly, get to the site Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest pages and the Swagbucks blog to get familiar with these. Swagbucks staff will post codes and sometimes special offers at all of these other places, so it will be good for you to figure out how to get to other pages quickly. SB Codes "time-out" !!! They expire - sometimes quickly, so if you find one, enter it in the side codes area to gain your SB currency.

The first couple of days of being a new "Swaggernaut" might seem pointless. You might think you are not going to ever get enough points/SB to do anthing with them, but I am strongly advising that you do take the time to look around, read any rules posted on-site, and know your way around within a day or two. After that, trust me, the earning/gathering of SB will add up quickly and you will be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is for people ages 13 and up to earn gifts, gift cards, and cash on this site!  (For example, I can get 10 SB in a couple of minutes every day when I first log into my SB account). 10SB times 5 days is 50 SB - and that's just from a quick basic set of tasks upon logging in only 5 days per week. 9 times of earning 50 SB will get you an Amazon card. (9 weeks if you are doing this absolute minimum suggested activity but you can very easily earn more than 50 SB a week).

I know you will want to make more than 50 SB per week, so here is the starting point of getting SBs after you get familiar with the site pages, navigation, your dashboard, etc.

Daily Routine: log in, use your SB Button to check your account, then click the SB Icon on the site header, left-hand side at the top. This will bring up your 3 basic daily routine bonus SB list in the left sidebar - Button use, Daily Poll, NOSO. These will not add up to a lot of SB but are the right place to start!

GO ahead and get your Button, Daily Poll and NOSO Swagbucks currency, then open the search function and be sure to search for legitimate things you are interested in.

Start watching Swagbucks TV. You'll get a couple or few SB after ten videos. There's a meter, "SB Meter" that will fill - when the dots go green and fill to 10 green dots, you will gain SB credits! If you have the time, you can earn a LOT of Swag TV credits. If you don't have a lot of time, try to view 50 vids (that is 5 rounds/cycles) just to make sure you are building up some dedication to using the site.

Check your on site emails - they may contain special offers and most of the offers are extremely time-sensitive, so if the "sale" or offer time runs out, the special becomes non-negotiable. A lot of sweepstakes offers are in the emails and I tend to IGNORE those because trading SB in for a sweepstakes game of chance can really put a giant hole in my SB collection!

Play Games for SB rewards. As of summer 2015, I have noticed a decrease in the games and I never did play the games much but if you are awesome at browser based games, play them and have a good time!

Check for available surveys. Check for available tasks. Check to see if there is anything you can shop for - and check to see if there are online store coupons you can use for your purchases (CAUTION HERE: Do not shop just to get your SB balance up higher. If there is something you need that you want to buy online, anyway, see if the intended store happens to be a Swagbucks partner/peer, then sign in and start your shopping selections from Swagbucks instea of going directly to, say, Wal-mart online or Sears online or Banana Republic online). If you are going to shop online, you may as well get points for doing it!

That's it. EASY stuff!

Once you get into a regular routine of earning some steady SB currency while logged in at the Swagbucks site, and your SB counts are increasing, you can dramatically BOOST your SB currency by using the phone apps: Swagbucks account app, SBTV, MovieCli.cks, Lifestylz.tv, Sportly.tv, IndyMusic.tv, and EntertaiNOW.

For more info on the apps, see the "Swagbucks Apps" page.

Popular Earning Site: Swagbucks

Swagbucks is an awesome reward site that rewards members for a whole lot of varied activitities, including:

  • Surveys
  • Video viewing
  • Internet Searching
  • Shopping (at partner/affiliated sites)
  • On-site games
  • Daily Poll
  • NOSO (No Obligation Special Offers) daily
  • Completing special offers (emailed out)
  • Finding swag "codes" periodically sent out by the site
  • Inviting friends to join (getting referrals)
Above are the on-site ways to earn at Swagbucks. What you'll end up with are special credits called "Swagbucks," (SB) and these site-specific credits are able to be converted into dollars or will be redeemable at participating stores in the form of gift cards at stores like Wal-mart, Amazon, too many to list here.

If you're interested in joining Swagbucks, here's my referral link:

Let's collect Swagbucks together!

Right after joining, it is important for you to view the "How To" section of the site and learn from Swagbucks itself what the Do and Don't rules of using and earning Swagbucks.

If you click in the upper left on-site, on the SB icon, you'll end up with a left-hand sidebar where you can also sign up for the SB Newsletter. It's a good idea to receive the newsletter because sometimes codes are sent out, special offers, and more that you won't find easily or at all on the regular pages of the site.

This is a site I joined quite a while back and used without purpose for a couple of years - silly me :)  At first, I just thought, "Yeah, okay - I'll gradually collect a few SB per day and cash out in a year."

For my first redemption - which took a year or so - I traded in my SB for true swag - a Swagbucks Hat! And at this time, up until a few weeks ago, I continued to use this site without focus, so I wasn't collecting SB very quickly.

What has really changed is that I got in a position to require more passive income and I finally read some tutorials online about using the SB phone apps combined with site activities to earn more than a small handful of SB per day and week.

I make more now in a week than I made in 6mo, just by properly and legitimately using apps, doing daily searches, watching vids on-site, and doing the daily NOSO.

I charged up my old cell phone (got an upgraded deal from my provider recently and my old phone is still in very good shape, so I might as well use it for money making, right?), grabbed the SB Android apps and ran one app 'til it maxed out. I re-charged my phone and ran another, different of the SB apps until that one maxed out - all totally legitimate, as per Swagbucks TOS! The difference from just running two of the phone apps kind of freaked me out - in an entirely GREAT WAY...

I got back online and started reading all I could about how to properly use the SB (and other, many other) cell apps to legitimately earn credits that convert to dollars and store gift cards.

My fave site and associated apps are the Swagbucks ones because this site (these apps) are LEGIT and the Swagbucks site has been on the "paying" lists steadily since 2008 - not to mention that I had a seemless, straightforward, and FAST process of trading in SB to gain a Swagbucks hat already a while back. I don't think I waited more than a week to get my hat once I ordered it.

* NOTE: Not all SB converted to dollars/gifts or gift cards will happen as fast as when I ordered my hat - but I see steady reports of SB fast service, legitimate payment proofs, etc., all the time.

More than a phone in your pocket

When I was a kid, the phone was a great device to talk to my Granny, my cousins, friends, etc., but it looked like THIS:

I remember using a phone at my cousin's place and it was a party-line phone, so the there were pros and cons to that whole tele-communications set up!

No, by party-line, I don't mean fun-chat and social chatting or one of those supposedly fun dating sites, I mean Multi-Party-Line or Shared Service Line.

Here's the deal with that, in the past: 2 or 3 families shared the same line and if you weren't careful about what you were talking about, a neighbour could easily hear your conversation.

Each "party" or household was assigned a ringing cadence (type of ring), like:

  • Long ring sound, long ring sound, pause....long ring, long ring, pause....etc
  • Short ring - short ring - short ring, pause, short-short-short, pause....etc
  • Long-short ring, long short ring, pause....etc

And it was basically up to each party to ignore the other party/household's rings and leave the phone alone, only answering your respective proper rinding cadence.

Above: a segment of the old "Dennis The Menace" television show entitled "Party Line Trouble." --you can see what a hassle using party-lines could be at one time, I'm sure!

NOWADAYS, however...

With the invention of cell phones, we are technically carrying around little mini computers with us all day long.

The new phones coming out in 2015 (the year I'm making this post) have more capabilities and are better than the first computer I owned!

My phone is better than the netbook computer I purchased in 2009, except it's much smaller and I type one-handed, point-and-peck on the phone, while I can use both hands and type faster on the netbook.

With all of this in mind - the fact that a cellphone is like a little mini computer - I say it will benefit me - and YOU, TOO - to make good use of the cell phone device to earn some money!

Phone APPS are cool, fun, and app developers who create decent, functional apps and games are making big bucks. Out of this, a whole new and lucrative industry, aside from cell phone technology has been born. The software (apps) that people use on the actual hardware (phones) has turned out to be a huge arena for profit.

If you don't know how to make cell apps - and I don't (but I am learning!) - you can still get in on cell phone app money - by using that little mini-computer you're always carrying around!  There are tons of apps that are for the end-user (us - cell phone users), including survey apps, game apps, video viewing apps, and more...
